Handy little tool, fills the gap between belt and pad sander
Nice to handle, although switch could do with being a little more prominent, as it can be hard to find when you need to turn off, especially if you are wearing gloves and goggles. The dust back attachment is 'ok' but could be improved as it comes off too easily in my view. I have now permanently fixed mine and adapted it to allow the attachment of a vacuum cleaner nozzle. Do not attempt to get better sanding by leaning on the tool as the disc is on some kind of slipping clutch, which is a good feature and avoids you straining to no good purpose. I would like to see a second handle to give the user balance when working on vertical and inverted surfaces. Changing sanding discs is painless and easy, amusingly it is harder to get the discs out of their bag than to fit the replacement. Ok but not very well designed
Dust blows out of everywhere and none goes in the bag, ends up covering your house in dust! Plus it does not seem very random orbital, it just spins around in a perfect circle grinding your wall right down to bare plaster in a second, its like using an angle grinder to sand your walls down :-/Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy product to use, does a really good job. The only slight issue we had was with the on/off swich. We had to press it a couple of times to make it stay on. Maybe slightly out of line with the plastic switch covering. Apart from that we are extremely pleased with the product. Nice little thing!
I brought this because I have some car body work to do and I thought I would give this ago. The sander itself is really good and does the job and gives a nice finish when your done, obviously it will not get into the small parts that need sanding but that's not a drama, my only problem was it made my hands feel like they was still using the machine when I had stopped due to the vibrations it gives you......but this mite be me? For the price this is a good sander.
For the price this is a good sander. It has worked better than my old one. The handle I found to be very bulky so I end up using the neck of the sander. The sucktion on this is amazing as it gathers alot more of the dust as my older one. Which was around the same price. I have several Silverline products and I use them alot.
