Handy size water saver
Neat and fairly easy to install. Needs level surface to work efficiently. Only suitable for small terrace or garden as after filling watering can 3 times when half full it's nearly empty. A water butt.
It is a plastic water butt, fill from a down pipe or a linking kit, which works quite well. The 100l is a good size to fit into the odd corner and the larger 210l does take up a bit more space but obviously holds more. Neither look dreadful, the stand works ok and ours don't leak. You do have to seal the transfer pipe to get a non leaking transfer and the tap comes with silicone grease in it, so dont forget to clean it before assembly. Compact water saver!
Water butts are fast becoming almost essential, as water supplies become more critical in the near future. In any case, rainwater is far better for the garden (and car washing) than tap water. This butt is excellent, holds 100L and is really compact to fit in the smallest space. Good value but some issues.
Generally good, but couple of points. Firstly, lid is press on. Don't see how it could possibly be lockable. Secondly, a taller base and longer tap connection would make it easier to get a watering can underneath. Fitting instructions are good.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Generally ok, just a couple of minor problems: The lid is a tight fit, difficult to get on / off The outlet valve wouldn't seal properly, the valve body bottomed on the inlet thread. Needed an additional washer and PTFE tape to make it seal. The valve body could do with being a bit longer to make it easier to fit a watering can under.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great product - just add rain!
The stand makes it easy to fill the watering can. Easy to set up. I made a few adaptations eg. drilled a hole in the lid for the filler pipe, drilled a hole in the top of the side to add a hose overflow pipe and made my own downflow pipe connected direct to the guttering using a plastic bottle with the right shaped hole cut out.
