    Good but improvements required.

    To improve on this design, I would make the rod rest connections movable to enable better positioning of the rods. Also an increased height would be useful. I do not think this would need to push the price up as these are easy to put right, in fact I think the bag could be done away with to save costs, as not too many regular anglers would always pack the pod right away. I will make the improvements to the pod myself. On the positive side it is a well made pod not at all flimsy like some and also a better value.

    Cracking value

    This rod pod is sturdy and good value for money. The extendable metal poles mean you can make this as big or as small as you want. The wallet that it comes with is an excellent bonus which makes me recommend this rod pod. My only concern is that the plastic clips which fasten the poles into place appear a little flimsy and I'm assuming that they will break easily over time, to stop this I'll just have to be careful when setting up. Good value though!

    Nice and compact for transporting.

    Have yet to use it on the bank, have tried it out at home and gives a good sturdy platform for the fishing rods. Nice and compact and easy to put together. Looking forward to using it at our local carp pond.

    Good for the price.

    Quick and easy to set up once you've got the hang of it. It's very bulky and takes up a lot of room especially if in a smaller swim but it's a solid piece of kit that does the job it's supposed to. It is what it says on the box 'LOW' to the ground and not much room for adjustment once the bite alarms are in place. Case is OK nicely padded for protection. All in all so far after six or seven outings I'm pleased and for the price it's very good.

    Rod Pod

    I have only used once but it is very sturdy so I am impressed so far. The only area I can see being a weak point is the clamps that lock the adjusting rods in place as they are not as robust as the main frame. The drop off indicators are not the best of quality but good enough and they performed ok. It’s got a good bag to keep it stored in where overall I am extremely pleased with it and it is certainly good value I would recommend it.
