Condition:
Using a sprayer or paint brush, apply to a dry surface from the highest point of the greenhouse downwards. The 250ml bottle should be sufficient to protect a standard 8x6ft greenhouse. Do not apply if rain is forecast within 24 hours of application.

Really good value for money
Easy to dilute as it mixes readily with water unlike the old powder stuff and just as easy to use. Waste of time and money - did not do the job.
Unable to obtain my usual brand of greenhouse shading, I was forced to get a bottle of Vitax. I had to wait for dry conditions on the day and following 24 hours, which in Wales was a long wait, but finally I used it last Saturday 22nd June 2019 and was very disappointed with the product. It was weak and thin in use. Having followed the instructions I coated the glass with it but on entering the greenhouse it had made no difference - still baking hot, whereas the previously used product created an immediate coolness. I waited for another chance to add a further coat, but again it is too weak to cover well and there is still no coolness nearly a week on. Regrettably the mixable sachets at 3 for £2.99 are no longer on the market but this solution at nearly £9 is useless. I hope enough gardeners protest and the sachets are reinstated because we need something better for future years.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Quality shading
This product seems to have good coverage and provides a very good opacity for shading. Very easy to mix and apply. I used a roller on an extension to apply. Very easy. A fully vertical surface may be more of a challenge. This is without doubt the best shading I have used/applied. I covered a twin wall conservatory roof (generally not recommended) 4x4 meters using only around a litre of the product when mixed. good product. made the mistake of putting ttoo much water in the bucket. There are very few instructions, hence the four stars not five; I found that this procedure will work:1, pour in a proportion of the Vitax (i.e. 100ml for 20% of your greenhouse). 2, then dilute gradually with up to hald the makers suggested dose of water. Try the mix and if too strong, 3, then adjust water. It is sloppy, and runs when applied; dont worry, wait a while then re-coat, waiting each time until you have built up the desired opacity. 4, make up further batches. Any spare can be stored in a tub/plastic bottle etc. for later use. Hope this helps. To remove, use a dry duster.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Economical and effective.
Easier to use than the powder version.A thick liquid with plenty of pigment. Just shake and dilute with water - I used 1 tablespoon in 8 tablespoons of water. Very little needed to do our 8' x 16' greenhouse so will last a few seasons making it cost effective. Easy solution

Very good effective product

Works - with caveat
Works fine, quick and easy and the shade created certainly prevents burns on young plants! However, be aware that some washed off with the first rain and contaminated the water butts.
