Previously had the similar type which is a black box with flip open lid. This one is better for three reasons: 1) Feels better made. 2) Bait container is removable for loading / cleaning. 3) See through flap so you can see it it's worked without relying on the LED. Dispatched 2 mice in 2 nights. Seems as humane as possible (I don't like to kill anything but there seems no choice as live traps and deterrents haven't worked.).

Thought I would keep you all updated - so far we have had 2 traps and are now on mouse 94!!! We rarely get them anymore but when we do- out comes the big cheese and a guaranteed catch! We also put it down when we go on holiday! The batteries need changing after a while (get good ones) and also the foot plate wears after constant cleaning - you need to keep it clean as it needs good contact with the little feet of the blighters! The first one we threw away after about 75 catches over a year or so as the plate had worn away and I couldn’t get it clean - I would defo recommend!

So I bought this after many failures of the humane traps... the old fashioned traps ( the mice ate the food without setting the trap off) .. and finally this trap.., we live in the country and thought we had three or four... we are on mouse number 21!!! This has worked every night without fail! I'm amazed at how many mices had moved into our home! It's brilliant although I really don't like killing mice! But they have eaten a rug.. potatoes and other food... so I really had no choice after trying other options. But this does work!!! Thank you !

I was really pleased with the quality of this product. Ok, no mice went in it, but they do work if the mice become enquisitive enough. Our mice were very clever, even got in and out of a humane trap without being caught. We keep this on and under the floor. I borrowed one before and we did catch a mouse so I know they work. Would recommend.

I live in a countryside situation and I have always had unwanted visitors from time to time. For years I have usedthe large electronic rat traps with great success but they are far to bulky to put discreetly around the home. This little box equals it's bigger brother but can be slipped easily into unseen corners or a cupboard where the mice like to go and the house pets can't get at them.. It's humane. I don't like to kill creatures but if I have to I want them despatched quickly without struggling and pain. Releasing them in the neighbourhood only gives your neighbours your problem... and they probably send them back! The mice touch the metal panels and are instantly killed, before they even get to the bait. Tip the box up and you can dispose of the body without need for handling it. I've put three of these around the house. The first one I put in caught 4 mice in 3 days. Now I leave them in strategic spots, check them daily and seem to have, for now, solved my problems. The only con is that the bait box is very small. Peanut butter is better than wallnuts...sticky to clean. now using bird seed! Seems to work ok. Read full review
