I used to work for Simoniz who distributed JB WELD Products so had experience.Nothing like it !!!! I have a Mercedez with a heavy rear view mirror detatched. Not what I'd hoped for.
I have a broken tap handle in my bathroom and I hoped this would work. I mixed it 50/50 used rough sandpaper on one end to aid the repair. I also removed any dust. In short, it didn't work. I even tried it again and (amazingly) I was able to peel this stuff off with ease. Quick setting? (it's meant to be roughly 3 mins. ) Nope, it took about 10 minutes to set. Strong connection when cured? Again, sadly no. Turned the tap the next day it snapped off quite easily. A close second to blu-tak and I won't be purchasing this product again. Maybe it's great for other jobs but it didn't help on this occasion.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fantastic adhesive. Sets rock hard and sticks to the surfaces well . I broke the plastic tabs on a speedo housing, and , after gluing the bits back in place, was able to screw the fixings in after half an hour, outside, in about 10 degrees temperature.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Impressive strength adhesive.

Worked perfectly. Sensible price for a full repair of the clutch.
A new Warner clutch for a Hayter 56 costs about £190. John Deere sell half of the clutch (with the friction material) for £90. This cost £19 plus £6 for some JB Weld epoxy. A 5 minute repair with This cheaper option is every bit as good as replacing the full clutch and is much easier. You only need to undo the bolt in the middle of the blade. You don’t even have to remove the blade first. This is highly recommended. You might need an impact driver to remove the 8mm Allen bolt. If the bearing has gone, replace with a Nachi Quest 6205-2NSE9 which should cost around £8 at the same time as replacing the clutch plate. Remember to clean up and fully remove the old clutch plate before installing the new one. Thanks for a great product at a sensible price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not as solid as expected
Mixed 50/50 as per instructions and it does set quickly but once cured I didn't find it set as hard as expected, maybe I got the mix slightly off? I used it to attach a broken motorbike wing mirror mounting back in place, time will tell if it holds out!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
