Inexpensive - so I am a little skeptical. My new freezer has a numbered (1 - 4) temperature dial which is annoying. I purchased this hoping to be able to keep an eye on the actual temperature. It appears to work O.K. but without buying a more expensive thermometer to check this one I have no way of knowing the accuracy. As long as it shows -20 or more (which it does) I shall be quite happy.

You might find it`s set a bit wrong for your fridge! It is for mine.When it`s in the green `fridge` zone my frozen food doesn`t thaw overnight & my milk gets ice in it but now I`ve realised that and adjusted downwards it does the job. I have nowhere to hang it but it`s light enough that a bit of blu-tac works to keep it one the fridge wall.

I like the clear colored sections on the dial, which make it very easy to read. My only concern is the very thin plastic hanging hook. Not sure how robust that's going to be over the long term.

This little fridge and freezer thermometer is very reasonably priced . It is small and lightweight but very easy to read at a glance because of the different coloured sections so it is not really necessary to be able to read the numbers. There is a green section for the correct fridge temperature and a section which is green with white stars to show the correct temparature range for a freezer .
