Better than expected. Not perfect.
It's a joy to see how well this works. Before I bought it, I read about what it can do and I thought "OK sure... I'll believe it when I see it". But the functionality of this thing is really amazing! I can't give it 5 stars because the app is a bit buggy and there are occasional hiccups, especially in the initial set up of floor plan, no go lines, etc. Now that I've done all the initial setting up, everything seems to be running smoothly. D7 does a D-cent job.
Its is surprisingly thorough. The ability to link it to Google Assistant and zoning enables me to spot clean on demand. So I just say, "Google Clean Kitchen" and the D7 nips out and cleans it in under 7 minutes. I have even built it a "kennel" under one of the kitchen units so it stores out of the way. The ONLY negative I can think of so far is you have to re set up the D7 if you relocate the docking station after you have set it up. This is my second Neato vacuum cleaner, very easy to use and set up. It is really good being able to control it using my mobile phone from anywhere. Brilliant fully automated, so good I bought two!
Once connected with wi-fi this model uses laser guidance to map the room, then you simply set a schedule, it will clean and send reports, it will prompt you when it needs emptying and it will call you when it’s stuck, amazing little helper, expensive but worth it.
