A simple, low cost in-wall wiring kit!
As a low-cost, simple and "easy" way to completely hide your TV power and signal cables, this is a very good choice. NOTE: this kit is designed for typical drywall construction. It can also be used with wood paneling or wood board wall types. If you have masonry (brick) or stone walls- this is a "troublesome choice". A power drill will be needed to make the two large holes in the wall (a hole saw is included in this kit). Most of this installation uses "common sense". Be sure to locate ANY electrical or plumbing inside the wall where this kit will be located. Not quite sure? Find someone who can verify this before drilling any holes!

Clean and easy to install
Product is of very good quality and instructions were easy to follow. The wall I chose had rolled insulation and the plastic fish rods for pulling the wires through got caught and did not work well. I used a steel fish tape and it went smoothly after that. However the plastic rods would probably work fine in a hollow wall. After all hooked up everything works fine and looks great. Great Product for Anyone
This is a great and inexpensive cord/cable power kit to hide flat screen tv wires in the wall. If I can do it, many of you can. Just follows the instructions...more importantly checking the wall for stud locations before cutting the holes. Once the holes are there, its all about running the cables and finishing the job. The hardest part is getting the trim caps off the two grommets. Only issue for some may be if you have a bundle of cables to route. Its not made to handle 7- 8 cables. I didnt even use the fish tape since it was a simple cable route, but you may need it. It looks great when finished. Follow the instructions and all good!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice product, installation guide could use some refinement and tips
The kit makes it fairly easy to install and use, even if you don't have any tools of your own (I used a power drill to make the job easier & faster). All parts look high quality and well-finished. However: 1) The hook on the end of the "fish tape" broke after the first use 2) The first hole I made was too close to the power conduit so I had to make another one (= extra unused hole in my freshly painted wall!) 3) You have to undo and remove both grommets to run another cable through 4) If you loosen the screws too much that hold the grommet to the wall, you can easily lose the "arm" that holds it in place. #2 is mostly on me, but it would be really nice if they put tips or warnings about these things in the installation guide!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Fast simple and easy to install
Everything you need is in the kit. Saw, wires, plates and line feeder. Took less than 20 minutes to install. Order two and install both without any problems. I used a drill for one and the handle for the saw for the other, both were easy to use. Hardware stores they are 39 to 59 dollars each. My boxes were worn and torn, but everything in the package was new, nothing missing. I would definitely order again before they are all gone. Great Item
Bought this item to eliminate having to tap into my electrical system in order to create an outlet behind my mounted television. Not to mention I did not want any visible cables. Install went fairly smoothly. The hardest part was getting pass the insulation in my wall. Once that happened, it was smooth sailing. Ran the cable wire through the slots as well. It creates a professional look any DYIer can be proud of. I highly recommend this product!

Hides the ugly cords.
I have used this kit before and it works great. It does have limits as to how far you can separate the lower power box from the TV and the distance to the receptacle. All that is well explained in the installation instructions. Even the supplied hole saw works well with either a drill or by hand.
