Manuka Honey 12+ and above was recommended by a professor at Liverpool Vet Hospital for use on wounds on our horses also works on my leg ulcers but it has to be this higher quality Manuka Honey too expensive for toast. Used on girth gall when normally hair grows back white, my horse is dark Bay the manuka honey cleaned up the wound far quicker than someone else who's horse had the same wound, the hair came back white, while mine came back the natural hair colour after using manuka honey.
