Save on ink
Was a bit apprehensive about buying a product with a damaged box. But no worries. Good thick polystyrene kept it pristine. I think you do need to print out once a week to keep the print heads from drying up or eventually they will give problems. That was major problem with my last inkjet printer. Problems from the start
This purchase was ‘open box’ but ‘unused’ ? There were no user instructions or installation details included with it; I had to download them from the internet. The HP website I do not think is user friendly and a lot to wade through. Eventually I got it set up and wirelessly printing, only to find the black printout was very poor. A day spent on the HP website produced no remedies. Looking for other user’s advice on YouTube, it seems there is could be an air blockage in the black system pipework. Why this should be on a ‘new’ printer I do not understand. I still haven’t got it to work yet. I regret buying HP - I should have stuck with the Canon printer brand, previous Canon printer purchases have always be OK, and installation straightforward and problem free. Printer fun
I spoke to HP agent to make sure that the printer I was buying did all the things I needed. Unpacking it and setting it up was easy- apart from unpacking the bits of cardboard attached by tape as some you can’t see where you open it to get it out and are frightened you will break it. I am disappointed that it doesn’t do the 2 sided option as I was told. Ink costs
Bought this model hoping to save money on the high cost of ink cheaper models require. I guess I still live in the dark ages when it comes to wireless connection but it works perfectly.
