Vax Carpet washer
Nice and easy to use. I tried it out on my kitchen rugs first, just to get the hang of it. My dog comes in and out all day, and with all this rain we've had lately, she has left quite a few muddy footprints!! The results were AMAZING. Really pleased with it. Disappointed
Absolutely dissatisfied with the carpet cleaner. I am very unhappy because this carpet cleaner does not dry your carpet at all nor does it deep clean your carpet either. It really hurts to think that I had wasted so much money on such item that barely does anything good, and the fact that I couldn't return the carpet cleaner after usage ( testing it) hurts even more. Vax rapid power refresh
The box had minor damage and the carpet cleaner was new in great condition ,after checking seems to work well ,had an issue with the upholstery attachment which was replaced ,this now does work in a fashion ,great for spots on carpets,and small rugs, but I'm not convinced that it works well on upholstery,time will tell,but at least I now have fluid coming through the nozzle at seat/stairs hight.my cream wool carpet cleaned reasonably well and lifted the pile up nicely , took a good day to dry after a deep clean ,the other carpet that is manmade fibers cleaned well on a quick clean and was dry after 2 hours . Keep an eye on the float as this does kick in changing the sound of the cleaners motor which then prevents the hoover from sucking up fluid even when it is not full ,but easily remedied by turning it off and back on again or emptying the dirty water and rinsing out the black mesh filter before continuing (my carpets were quite dirty as I have 2 dogs and old carpets and been renovating the garden ) The brushes ,foot and tanks are very easy to clean (rinsed through with warm water etc)after using ,due to them coming apart relatively easy and easy to re assemble machine . Very good price due to a slightly damaged box , customer service was excellent and very helpful, would have been nice to have had a larger bottle of carpet solution as only just enough to do a 13"x 14" wool carpet so had to purchase more to fully test the carpet cleaner when replacement part arrived .Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great value and good initial tesults
Bought this damaged box Vax to refresh carpets and treat occasional accidents. Initial results are good. The machine is easy to use and despite being a shoes off household, the water picked up by the machine was quite dirty. My only criticism was relatively cheap / less effective stair and upholstery tool - it has a very basic liquid spray function and no motorised agitation. My life saver
I have used a different product in the past. So I got a Vax. It’s the best I have ever used. Clean up
Arrived next day in good condition. Compared to later models this is good value and works well on household carpets. Two or three parts have plastic clips which seem secure but would be a problem if they broke. Heavy when full of water and this helps close contact with the carpet. A number of parts need to be cleaned, so more regular use will avoid clogging with dust and dirt. Not clear how the trigger regulates the flow as the water and cleaning solution quickly mix together, however 90 ml of cleaner with two lites of water covers around ten square metres of carpet.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
