quality issues
several small issues which i rectified myself. rubber pads on feet would'nt stay on so glued them in place. pump leaked air where guage screwed in and tyre connector hose also leaked at pump end so had to dismantle and use extra seals before pump would work. Also didn't come with pack of adapters as claimed in description. 4 issues suggests poor quality control so hope it proves heavy duty as claimed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works but don't believe the gauge.
It pumps up my tyres which it is designed to do, great. However, the pressure gauge is very inaccurate, reading at least 10lb or more per square inch higher than the actual pressure, which I had to check with another gauge that I know to be accurate.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

AA boxed Unbranded Footpump
Copy of 16 year old Michelin footpump which could reinflate a flat tyre. Powerful pump, reverse action lever connector (improves for knowing) and reasonably accurate guage. Works as it is supposed to do. Update. Fortunately I kept the 16 year old Michelin pump. AA pump fine for a few weeks, then guage seemed to vary on initial check followed by vast increase with a couple of pumps. Changed connector, then guage and finally pipe. Now all three Michelin. Guess what? Accurate readings again! It could have been substandard thickness pipe and/or connector or guage. The detailing is definitely substandard. Rubbish - do not buy
This is a shoddy, badly designed and not quality controlled product. The bad system for keeping it closed easily breaks, the rubber feet and rubber nonslip cover are poorly stuck in place, but most importantly the valve connector is also badly designed: if you can get it on, it is difficult to get it off again and meanwhile air pours out of the tyre. I'm surprised that the AA , a high profile quality organisation are selling or putting their brand name again such item. Poor quality with thin metal construction . Closing mechanism just a length of nylon string on the side , which one of them was broken when it arrived and the rubber on the foot plate hanging off.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
