NotesK. Flay - "Every Where Is Some Where" The first signing to Night Street/Interscope Records (an imprint helmed by Imagine Dragons front-man Dan Reynolds), K. Flay instills energy into songs that highlight her seamless lyrical flow and head-turning lyricism. K. Flay is quick to point out that she "fell into music very haphazardly" at the age of 19 - a decade after her dad first taught her to play guitar. K. Flay's second album "Every Where Is Some Where" includes the Top 5 Alternative Radio hit "Blood In The Cut" & new single "High Enough".

  • Enjoyable.

This isn't normally my flavor of music, I usually prefer metal & blues. After hearing "Blood in the Cut" on a local metal station I ordered this. K Flay does an awesome job of mixing and weaving a lot of angst in the vocals while still maintaining a melodic quality normally reserved for more, um, "pop oriented" singers. Mix this with the band who is breaking in and out of metal riffs & you have a great sound. If your on the ropes about this one go ahead & buy it.
