Incredible Sound
Mingus Ah Um is a classic jazz record and so I’ll say very little about the music itself as it can be readily streamed across platforms. The record itself just sounds incredible. This is, without question, the best sounding record that I’ve ever heard. The separation between instruments, the definition, and the tone is incredibly life like. Listening to it through my mid-range system (Rega P3, Elex-R, and Dynaudio Emit M30) is such a fantastic experience. The record itself is expensive, however, the packaging is very high quality, and the record is immaculately pressed on Supervinyl, centred, and flat. And, typically, this series tends to appreciate in value over time.
