DC Clamp meter with great bluetooth iphone android data logging
I don't bother doing reviews very often, but this is a great bit of kit. Not had chance to double check its calibration on all settings, but I'm not really worried if its slightly out. I have a selection of Fluke DVM meters when I want to be deadly accurate. I purchased this for double checking and logging DC starter motor current. It will do that very well. Connection to my iphone was quick and I have to say I was pleasently surprised with how well it works. Comes with a decent enough case and leads and a type K thermocouple probe, which I have checked and is within 1 C at 20 C . Only negative point I can think of and it is minor, it's just a shame the pointer on the settings knob is the same colour plastic as the body. (maybe it's just mine though) The pointer does not line up 100% with the detents on the body, its slightly out, therefore makes for a few double takes checking the setting you are on in anything but good light. However a small spot of paint on the pointer will sort that I guess. In summary - for none professional occasional use this meter is a remarkable asset to have for the money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
