Dads Army Film on DVD
At first I was a little put off by the new characters ,but after 20 minutes into the film I warmed to the new people playing the parts,and then thoroughly enjoyed it ,and I am pleased I own a copy,I will watch it again and again,Catherine Zeta Jones Excelled.

A great shame.
Well I didn't expect much and I was not disappointed. A very lightweight plot and some fine actors looking very uncomfortable with their roles in this poor pastiche of one of the all time great comedy classics. A lifetime ""Stupid Boy" award should be awarded to the creators of this mockery.

Great film
Loved the orginal Dad's Army series when it was on tv, and this film brings back happy memories of that time. It is difficult not to compare the actors in the film with those in the original series, some come over better than others but overall it's a good film.

Original is always best
This is absolute rubbish, after 20 minutes I could stand no more. The characters are very 'wooden' in their acting styles, the script written by a backward school-child, what more can one say..... Already given this to the charity shop, I mean, why should I suffer alone....
