Brilliant performances from the entire cast. There were none that made up the numbers.
The characters & the performances from the entire cast are top notch believable. Each situation & event were handled in exactly the way they would have done if they had happened for real. Lord Grantham had rules that if broken were dealt with harshly but softened by glowing references to aid further employment elsewhere in an act of forgiveness.
