During hot pursuit, both ships are mysteriously transported to the Delta Quadrant, 70,000 light years away. Now the only hope for escape is an unlikely collaboration between the two crews.

Voyager forever
The best Star Trek series since Star Trek TOS in my opinion about the star ship 'Voyager' and its crew lost in a distant region of space, an engaging complete story in every episode, where meeting a new species determined to steal Voyagers technology is a common occurrence, with a long running 'journey home' storyline throughout the series. Most enjoyable series and yes there were some 'naff' episodes especially in the later seasons but the idea of exploring space must always appeal; it's a pity it will never happen as we will kill this planet and ourselves along with it, long before we can get out there.
