The product - ie The complete collection of The Comic Strip Presents - is what it says it is and is therefore good on that count. The episodes vary widely in their entertainment value but that is of course my personal opinion only. The stand out best episode is and always was Mr Jolly, there are several poor episodes The Beat Generation, Fistfull of Travellers Cheques to name two. Worth buying to refresh your memory.

The price worked for me, but unfortunately the quality of the product didn't. I bought it used and, while some of the episodes play fine, the more popular ones have obviously got a lot of diskwear going on with the result that they jump and are effectively unwatchable without a load of frustrating messing about with the remote.

I bought this having seen occasional episodes. It represents very good value, there's over 29 hours of entertainment on this set. Good points: The good episodes are excellent, still make me laugh. The Bad points - some episodes have not stood the test of time and some are simply unfunny. Cutting edge humour at the time, but the world has moved on. Still recommended just for the Bad News episodes and a few others. Shame that 'Eat The Rich' wasn't included.
