Great value; a useful product that makes reception of a time signal easy.
A neat little kit for receiving a radio time signal. Upon receipt, the kit is already built and just needs the antenna, crystal and PCB pin header to be soldered to the board. Please visit Universal Solder's website for product details and datasheets, including the MAS6180C AM receiver IC datasheet. I found that the PDN ('power down') input needs to be grounded to activate the IC, and the LED input also grounded to light the LEDs (this is a power-saving measure in cases when the board is to draw little current). The AON pin can also be configured to disable the AGC to prevent interference. If all is well, the OUT pin should pulse with the received time signal, and the LEDs light if they have been enabled.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

MSF60KHz Atomic Clock Receiver.
Good quality PCB, well assembled. Works great. Receives MSF60KHz time signal in England. Please be aware that in September 2018 the time signal is off air until the evening for transmitter maintenance.

Works well
This receiver is sensitive and provides a clean output signal (illustrated in the accompanying oscillograph as trace MSF60, together with the outputs of three DCF77 receivers). It does not, however, have much of a driving capability, so you may find that a buffer is required. My only reservation is that the connection to the aerial appears to be a bit fragile, though this did not cause me any trouble.
