The Shunning: I like all of Lewis' books. . .I find the Amish way of living and thinking fascinating. The book is like new and arrived in good time.
Mrs. Lewis has a wonderful ability to describe the Amish life style, their work ethic, and above all their faith. This puts her books in the can't-stop-'til-you-finish category for me.
I have several books from Beverly Lewis, I just ordered 10 more yesterday from E-Bay. I just LOVE the Amish books she writes. I can't read fast enough in some in order to get to the next book. I find reasons to sit down for a few minutes so I can just read a chapter or two. I have found them to be so touching, so real, that I cry with them sometimes laugh with them. I can't say ENOUGH about her books. I will keep going to get more of her books. I also enjoy the single novels, but the ones I enjoy the most is when there is 2, 3, 4, or 5 books to read in sequel. Love them, keep them coming to us.
