About this product

Product Information

Reflexive Entertainment's futuristic homage to Atari's Breakout continues with Ricochet Infinity. Players will advance across 216 brick-busting levels while on a trip through the cosmos. A ship positioned at the bottom of the screen is used to shoot and deflect balls so they collide with the bricks, some of which require three hits before they are removed from the playing field. One of the game's more interesting features is the ability to recall balls in play at any time by clicking the right mouse button. The balls will then automatically travel in the shortest path to your ship, allowing you a chance to eliminate specific bricks. Players can use the recall ability an unlimited number of times per stage. Ricochet Infinity features ten environments, 14 planets, and unlockable ships, balls, rankings, and other bonuses. A friend can also join in on the action with the "MouseParty" feature, which requires two mice connected to the same computer. Thousands of additional levels can be downloaded via Internet to extend the game's replay value.

I've been playing this game for years. Plan to stop never! The basic game play has stayed the same all this time, but there are thousands of what I call "sets" created by many, many different people. The sets are sometimes so different as to make it seem like a totally different game. Game play in some is easy. Game play in others in difficult. And the graphics! WoW! In many sets the graphics are unique and outstanding!
