Whitewall cheater slicks
After driving on radials for so long, I had forgotten how rough riding bias belted tires are. These cheater slicks have the perfect look for my rat rod, but they ride extremely rough, and 3 shops could not balance them perfectly. To be able to drive on them ,I have to let the air pressure down to 15lbs. The Nitto 325/50/15 Drag Radials that I replaced had almost no balancing weights, where as the cheater slicks have about a pound each. It should be mentioned in the add for these that they will not give a smooth ride as compared to a modern radial. But they definitely have the "look".
