Remember watching this series when it was first shown in the UK around 1980(?). This set includes the 2 part pilot episode which I don't remember at all. One episode also features a clip showing a 'memory' of Mork visiting The Fonz in a Happy Days episode, which was an interesting reminder of how this show started out. Great to see the raw early talent of Robin Williams and hear the Na-Nu Na-Nu greeting and shazbot (Ork swearing). Most of the jokes still work and it was great fun to watch again. As others have commented the style of the show appears dated compared to modern TV, but that is part of the joy of watching a 40 year old show like this - it reminds you how much has changed. Will be looking to find series 2 and 3, and maybe series 4, but that may only be available for Region 1 (USA).Read full review

Mork & Mindy was a hilarious series that unleashed the comic talents of Robin Williams. This series began as a hilarious episode of Happy Days and ended with Mork getting his new assignment to go to the seventies. Mork even went back in another episode of Happy Days (a clip show but still funny). It remains as one of Williams' best works.
There's nothing else quite like Mork and Mindy. Though at times it can feel charmingly dated this sitcom is nothing short of pure comedy gold. Of course, Robin Williams can easily be said to be the show's main attraction, but there's no doubting that everything from the show's premise to the cast and the writing take you along for an utterly amazing ride as the Orken alien hilariously attempts to adjust to life on earth, leading us into some television moments that are nothing short of comedy heaven. If you're in need of a really good laugh, or you've maybe not seen Mork and Mindy since you were a kid, it really is time to sit back with a season box set and prepare for some of the wackiest, quickest, most vibrant and energetic humour you've ever seen.
hi after buying two kittens and calling them mork and mindy our kids never had a clue who they were so we brought this dvd series and the kids aged 18, 15 and 11 havent stopped laughing or watching them yet well done will look at getting the other series now xx
excellent 70's comedy, starring robin williams, which catapulted him to fame, funny from start to finish.he is so quick and off the wall,it revolutionised sit coms.there was never a dull moment and all the supporting cast were good as well.maybe a bit dated,in the fashion department but stands the test of time really well.
Even better than I remembered it and my 7 and 9-year old love it! Robin Williams really deserved to become a star.
