I decided to but this dvd as it was one of my favourite programmes when i lived in England but i've moved to Australia and sadly no longer can watch some of my old favourites so i thought this would be just the answer. It's is a very entertaining dvd with some fantastic highlights from the the series in general including clips from the Friday Night News, Coat of Cash quiz amongst many more which are throughly entertaining and totally hilarious, well worth watching. But much to my disappointment i have to mention that rather than random clips in no particular order from right the way through the whole of the series i think it would have been better having a disc from say series 1&2 and then a disc from 3&4 it would have been far more organised and the progress over the series that the show had made would have been better showcased. I would also have to mention that there are sometimes gaps/pauses between the clips rather than a continuous run and that sadly the extra feature clips that are on the dvd have mostly been seen in watching the full dvd so really there aren't that many extra clips. But overall i have to say that it is still a very funny dvd and still gave me many, many laughs and fantastic memories of the programme so i'd say a must for Friday Night Project fans!.Read full review
The Sunday Night Project was a British comedy-variety show by Princess Productions that first aired on Channel 4 in February 2005 under the title The Friday Night Project. Originally broadcast on Friday nights, the show moved to Sunday nights for its seventh series in 2008. Each week the regular hosts (from series 2 onwards) Justin Lee Collins and Alan Carr are joined by a celebrity guest host. These guests provide an opening monologue, are interviewed by Alan and Justin and take questions from the studio audience. They also take part in comedy sketches, hidden camera stunts and a game show where someone from the audience is selected to win prizes. When the show was called The Friday Night Project, it was not live; it was recorded at The London Studios on the night before it was broadcast on Channel 4. When the show became The Sunday Night Project, the show retained its Thursday night taping schedule.[1]Read full review
I bought this DVD after catching the show and I am so glad I did - it was a laugh-a-minute from beginning to end and let me see bits of the ones I hadn't seen. Well put together and brilliant when you need a laugh. The hilarity of both Alan Carr and Justin Lee Collins is brilliant and the celebrities are really good too.
What a fantastic DVD. If you loved the show, this DVD is full of all the best bits, and lots of unseen footage that will have you roaring in your seat. This really is a must have DVD for any Friday Night Project fan, and worth every penny!!!
Absolutely hilarious! Very well put together, with all the best bits from the shows. Alan & Justin are so funny and manage to charm every guest that hosts The Friday Night Project.
