Best aftermarket bulbs I have ever bought.
So...you buy a car but don't want to pay the £1500 extra to get a black roof and some LED lights. but you really want those LED lights. This is where this kit comes in. I was very sceptical at first, having bought "white" type bulbs previously but being too worried to go the HID kits. I was stunned when I took it out for a drive tonight. The light pattern was excellent and I could see so far down the road I thought someone was holding a search light for me. Other cars were not flashing me so it seems that the light spread is about right also. For the cost the quality and light gain is totally worth it. Get them. You will NOT be disappointed with the improvement over your halogens. They are also impressively easy to install. I will definitely buy again for other cars. Great quality. Radio interference.
Great quality on unpacking it and very well packed. Very easy to install. My problem was that it caused interference with my car radio reception both on FM and DAB. I have not heard anyone else have this problem so perhaps it was a rogue kit? The light colour was excellent the power of the light beam was somewhat disappointing, however I thought it was an improvement on the original equipment. I have returned the kit due to the problem with the radio reception. If you are contemplating installing a kit of this nature I think this kit is as good if not better than others out there. Massive difference in overall light output over the halogens fitted as standard in my Astra GTC . Easy install.. literally plug in to the original connections . I couldn't fit the rear light covers though as the bulbs were too large but as the bulbs are waterproof I can't see an issue there. Driving with them for about a month now ...other than a dash error (expected with LED's) I am very happy with function & look they give the car . As good as HID, but instant lighting.
I have to say I’m amazed also. I have bought other LED bulbs in the past and was never pleased with the overall results. I watched an hour long video on YouTube from a guy who explained exactly what you need to look for in a LED bulb - a narrow set of chips and minimal thickness between each side, so that the LEDs accurately replicate the original filament of the build you’re replacing. These bulbs do just that. I’ve fitted them to a 2014 Insignia, and had to make one small adjustment ( I had to file about 5mm off one corner of the heatsink) to allow the cap to close on the back of the headlamp. Other than that, I installed the chips facing sideways. The driver unit fits neatly inside the headlamp unit too. The beam pattern is absolutely excellent. Nice crisp white colour that totally matches the stock DRL LED. I’ll never buy another LED that doesn’t match this style. A friend with the same car had to remove aftermarket HIDs at MOT, and I’m hoping these will be a different story, but won’t know for another few months.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I also fitted these to an Astra GTC like another reviewer here. Take your time in fitting them & set them up so they are vertical with the LEDs shining horizontally & you’ll get a perfect & brighter beam pattern. If you reverse the heat sinks the dust covers on the GTC also still fit perfectly 🙂👍 I highly recommend these bulbs; so much better than all the others I’ve tried.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Premium Quality, easy fit.

I made a comparison with the original halogen HIR2 Philips. I measured in the same condition from 7m to the wall in the garage and this LED has in my case 270 Lux and the original HIR2 Philips halogen has 850 Lux. Even though the white color is really nice I came back to original halogen and I am looking for different product to try.

The light pattern is not very even

Perfect
