I find it weaker than Novo-pheniram so have to take more. The price online really helps to balance this out. I still keep Novo-pheniram on hand for rescue medication. Inexpensive+effective

A 'must-have' in my medicine cabinet
This is a first line anti-histamine, which means it was 'invented' many years ago and not usually prescribed today as newer ones are on the market that do more 'stuff'. I prefer an antihistamine to do just that - clear the histamine in my body, which is what this does. I have taken it for over 60 years, initially prescribed by my doctor for chronic sinusitis. I also use it on long-haul air flights to stay asleep while clearing my nostrils and airways. It keeps me asleep for 4 hours and then I would just take another one. Allergis
My whole family has severe allergies from dust, dander, and most of the trees outside. Watery, itchy eyes, and a lot of the trees in our yard. We live in the Stanislaus National forest. "Chlorpheniramine" is better then the others.
