High Quality in Many ways
I have been buying and installing solar panels since 1989. First thing I noticed was it was the most sturdy and carefully packaged for shipping that I ever received. The solar panel itself has the most robust frame of any of the quality panels that I have purchased over the last 25 + years. Before installing it on an existing array, I tested the output with a very accurate Fluke current shunt and Fluke VOM on an April day in South Dakota. The measured short circuit current of 10 Amps exceeded the advertised rating. The Open Circuit Voltage was as advertised. I can see that the manufacturer and shipping department have great pride in their work. This is a quality American made solar panel that meets or exceeds the performance specifications and by my experience predict it will provide MANY decades of service. Nice construction works well.
Purchased a 150 watt panel, very nice construction, well built. Seems to work as advertised. One thing I had minor issues was the mounting. My panel had 4 pre-drilled holes only on two opposite corners. Two holes about 8 inches apart on one side near the top, and two holes about 8 inches apart on the opposite side near the bottom. Seems like they would have the 4 holes near the top and bottom on the sides. That being said making modifications to mount this heavy duty panel was not much of a challenge. Excellent Panel with sturdy frame
Well made USA panel that puts out a good charge. With the sturdy frame and standard solar connector on the back this panel is easy to setup and mount anywhere. Great panel and good form factor.
I needed a goog panel but had limited space where a normal sized one would not fit. This one is the normal length but narrower si it fit fine. Puts out 8.5 amps at 12VDC using a MPPT controller, I use 3 of them so get a solid 20Amps to recharge my inverter batteries in 4 hours. Great quality panel
I have a few solar panel brands but this one is outperforming even Kyocera! Cells look of good quality, not like pale Chinese ones, work current is around 8 amps in full sun which is great. 160 PV panel
I started out with one 12 volt solar panel 160 Watt they seemed low cost. But please do not mistake low cost for cheap these are the best solar panels I have ever had . 4 pv panels keep my small battery Bank going for my off-grid home.!! I am extremely pleased with these panels on extremely cloudy days that I thought could not possibly charge my batteries they were pushing 14-9v. On good sunny Days they are pushing 18v . I originally started out with two batteries and some 12 volt lights and something to charge my cell phone and that's all I needed then I decided I would get more PV panels and more batteries so now I have thousand watt wind generator 4 pv panels and 6 batteries with a Ange power inverter 5000 watt.. not that I think the PV panels cannot keep up the wind blows all the time here and it's such a waste to let such an energy source go to waste Like the Wind. Great product
