While engineered for the welding profession, they can also be useful when barbecuing or when working with a wood-burning stove. Brilliant heavy duty fire safety gloves, very impressed indeed!
Have been using these gloves for 7 months every day lighting our logwood burner. They really do save your hands and wrists from accidental burns and are quite comfortable after a few uses when they lose their stiffness. Ideal protection
These are very good. Protect my hands and forearms from harm when putting logs into my burner. Stops the burns from the sides of the burner when it has been on for a while. Couldn’t believe the price and quality
I bought these gloves for my multi fuel stove for refuelling and for opening closing air grates.. they where so very cheap so i ordered not expecting much. When they arrived after just a few days, i couldn’t believe the quality of the gloves they are just great! In would say id order again but i dont think id need to as they are very well made, in-can freely use my fingers to pick up logs then reach into the stove to place the logs without restriction or feeling a degree of heat! Forget expensive brand named bbq gloves!
These gloves are amazing for BBQ. I can't attest to their quality as a glove for anything work related but they're perfect when searing meat on high heat or pouring out your charcoal from a pipe starter. They're very comfortable, protect your hands almost up to your elbows and are extremely heat resistant. They allow you to work over extremely hot embers for long periods of time. They do numb some tactile feedback but it's not like you need to bust out a record score on snake with these. They don't hinder using tongs or spatulas and even a meat probe stays in your hand with these. These are also perfect for lifting a wrapped hunk of meat out of the bbq without losing your fingerprints. Before this I often used tongs only to tear the foil and lose that precious meat juice, diminishing the quantity of my gravy. Best of all is the price, if you're like me and often forget to clean your equipment after your last session of the year, you may find these gloves in a moldy state the following summer. That's when you put a new pair (or 2 like I did this year) on order and try to manage without for the first grilling session.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I wasn't expecting such good quality gloves and had brought them for my wood burner as my older (much more expensive and unlined) gloves were nearly done. ......
