  • Epoxy putty repaired leak in boiler overflow

I successfully used this product to fix a leak in a low-pressure solvent-welded pipe. Certainly much cheaper than calling out an engineer, and much easier than cutting out the bad joint and replacing it with two more. That’s the good news. The downside is that it needed 3 pellets - the first one and then adding the next one did not stop the leak. Third time lucky. Also, the resin is quite fiddly to knead into an even mixture, and it made my delicate office-worker’s fingers quite sore. Still, a good result overall.

  • Epoxy putty

I've used this type of putty many times for repairs and projects now. This putty is very good value and as good quality as other more expensive versions. The final setting hardness is like a ceramic but is able to be filed, drilled and sanded. Great for restoring stripped threads and timber joints on beds and furniture where damaged. And cracked or chipped plastics. Has good electrical insulation properties too. Handy small portions best wrapped back in cling film for storage after use.

  • To fix holes just use these pellets.

Great at fixing a hole or crack. I have floor tile in my kitchen and over time three now have holes and cracks. Using the pellets is very easy just take a lump roll it and then fill. Once its hardened smooth of and paint. Just great.

  • tough and resilient!

The filler will fill and repair anything - it sticks to most things and will add rigidity to them - repairing frames or metal pots! It takes a bit of time to go hard - but that gives time to get it into place.

  • Excellent product, good value.

Purchased to seal an interface between steel and wood prior to painting and found the product to be excellent for this purpose.

  • bloody good stuff

Superb. So easy to use. A brilliant idea. Does not creep or spread while it cures. Cures quickly but still gives time for positioning. Does not smell. Sticks to everything. Sets real hard.

  • Effective adhesive putty

This putty combines the thick resin with the activator. Each pellet is protected by a plastic film (not mentioned in the instructions!) and two foil end-caps. The pellets require kneading to thoroughly mix the two parts and this requires some effort to do quickly as hardening starts within a very few minutes. The mix is thick enough not to slump and can easily moulded to shape. The partial setting time is given as 30 minutes with a full set in 3 to 4 hours. I found that the putty could not be moulded after 10 minutes (on a warm day) and that it is best left for 24 hours before sanding and finishing. Overall a really good product with clear instructions (mostly) and cautions. Highly recommended.

  • Really handy stuff!

Have bought more of this recently, as it's a great small filler for loads of applications to keep in my toolbox. Just roll it between your palms for a minute, then it's quite pliable to squeeze in to all sorts of gaps. Sets rock hard within hours. Can be sanded, drilled, and painted, so it really is very handy.
