In December 1995, Jean-Dominique Bauby, the 43-year-old editor of French "Elle, "suffered a massive stroke that left him permanently paralyzed, a victim of "locked in syndrome." most amazing book ever "written"
This book was written by a person who only had use of one eyelid, with the help of an awesome caretaker. The idea that someone in that condition continued to have the drive to write a book makes this worth reading.
