Good Inexpensive Polk SL1000 Replacement!
Very good inexpensive replacement 1" dome tweeters for my 35 year old Polk Audio Monitor 5 speakers that needed them. Had to drill new mounting holes in cabinets and sand off about a millimeter or so from the top and bottom of the Goldwood tweeters to make them fit like they should. The titanium domes sound nice and crisp like they should and not overly bright or harsh like some others brands tend to be and they have no problem handling the power from high volumes I put to them without any discernable distortion that could I hear. No, they're not as amazing as the original Polk silver dome tweeters but they do cost far less, sound quite satisfactory and able to fit my speaker cabinets with little modification so I'm glad I bought them since they're a great buy for the money!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
