  • A nice all round unit.

The TEAC sounds very good, it gives most or all the features that we usually need, it is a bit dated I guess, but then a lot of us have an iPod & cd's. The radio works well having presets, which of course are essential in my mind, with the number of stations available, both on DAB & FM. The remote is quite easy to use, as are the controls on the unit itself, but most of the time the remote is far more convenient. Overall I would say that the TEAC is a good unit, especially if you are perhaps limited for space, I would recommend this unit. Many thanks.

  • Make sure you get the remote control!

Good points; build quality, small enough and slim enough to hide on a shelf. Very easy to plug and play. Most basic functions available without remote control (see below). Being Teac the sound is probably very good (see below). Bad points; Make sure you buy the system with the remote control - The sound quality cannot be altered without it! Whoever had mine last, loved the 'cotton wool in ears sound' and I can't alter it! Writing on the buttons is so small I cant read it without glasses. I'm forever pressing the wrong buttons. Getting the CD in the draw vertically, is fiddly.
