Well, being new to Naruto and anime in general, I was very on-edge about trying it out, the response you get from saying you like Naruto can sometimes put off newcomers to what is possibly one of the greatest shows ever made, the story is extremely engrossing, with most episodes ending on cliffhangers you feel like you are on the edge of your seat just waiting for the next episode to start! I thought the presentation of the show is very fitting of it type of story telling and the world is completely absorbing, with fully fleshed out characters and areas. The story starts quite simple and is very easy to grasp, with a prologue leading to the events of the actual story, which is about a boy who is shunned and hated by the entire village in which he resides, and because of this he has built the dream of becoming the head of his village, this, as you can imagine, leads to many adventures each as amazing as the next. The characters that revolve around this show are very memorable and very rarely forgettable, from the main character, a boy with too much energy and not enough patience, to other more obsene characters such as (Spoilers!)Zabuza, all of these characters with a brilliant mix of action packed battle sequences that are genuinely incredible to watch, to the emotional sequences that teach you about the characters and their origins. I was EXTREMELY sceptical about watching this show (mainly due to it's undeserved reputation)but having watched four series now I can safely say that I thoroughly enjoy this show and will continue to do so! This review may be very positive and may sound bias, but it was written by a person who has never watched anime and only heard little about Naruto, so if you are wanting to try Naruto please do, you definately won't regret it. Oh and one more thing, I have watched this show and very much enjoyed it, but it hasn't changed my way of life at all, I don't watch any other anime and don't plan on doing so,so if you are worried about getting into other anime don't panic, but if you do want to, please be my guest! Thanks for reading this no doubt tedious review! Naruto: 5 starsRead full review
Naruto is a series, that is known as anime, which originates from Japan,It is known as Japanese animation and it differs from your day to day cartoon. The animation it's self is more detailed and deals with more moving and realistic problem's which anybody could relate to Naruto is essentially about a young boy,who is born into an age were ninjas exist and has no parents to care for him.And the main character Naruto is an outcast of his community, and we watch him as he proves him self to his peers, and gets stronger in every aspect,So he can reach his goal to be,Hokoge, which is leader or elder of the village. So he can gain the acceptace he deserves. During this season,Series 1,You get to see the protagonist Naruto take a pledge to be a fully pledged ninja,You see this as he becomes apart of the ninja squad.Team 7.Were he meets his friend Sasuke who is also his friend ,But yet his enemy and Sasuke is more of a anti hero, and Sakura Naruto's stubborn potential love interest, where they face epic, and moving battles as the hard life of a ninja. As a whole,I highly reccommend Naruto,It is a rollercoaster of emotion's,because it has the moving sad moments ,but is known for its hyped epic fighting scenes and is a good series for any age,Read full review
