Direct, simple replacement.
I bought this to replace an unit which failed after 4 years in a new caravan. It was a direct replacement with only two plugs to change and fitted easily. After only 4 years light use in a caravan I have concerns regarding the quality of the product and have heard reports of several failing. I bought the unit just to replace the failed unit as an easy swap as many others have replaced the unit with a different make. A great piece of kit that is essential to a lot of Electrical Units in Caravans & Motorhomes. It is relatively easy to fit depending where your main electric unit is sited, for as you can see from the unit displayed there at only 2 Connections to be made. One of which is the mains input plug to the unit the other is obvious when you are removing the old unit. On my Bailey it just slides in. Easy to install looks to be a good quality product. We chose to fit this uprated unit as the old one in my son caravan which was 12 amps and had burned out so this new unit with 20 amps and a cooling fan which cuts in at around 5 amps should do the job well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
