Genuine part is best ...
I'd almost given up hope of ever getting my VW Golf Mk 4 running right until it was brought to my attention that the injector harness loom fails in high mileage cars - i could have bought one at half this price but Instead i opted for an original VW part and sure enough it cured the fault , my car is running normal again . I'm not for one minute saying an aftermarket patent part would not last but given that i have 200,000 + miles on the clock i'm sure this VW part will last just as long . Passat TDI Injector loom
Fitted to a 1.9 TDI PD Passat easy enough to fit after heating up the loom to get it into the engine against the bulk head, only took 3 hours to fit, engine now running well after running very rough. Loom looks like it’s well made good thick wiring. Expensive for what it is but cheaper than from VW. The last one on the car had lasted at least 120k miles maybe the full 180k time will tell seems as well made as the original.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cheap fix
The engine has done 170k miles and started running on 3 cylinders intermittently and then continuously over a period of a week. Took out the old injector wiring loom and electrical tested it as per a video on YouTube. Results showed the loom was fine. Ordered this loom any way as cheaper and easier than taking out and replacing injectors, and it was suggested the loom was the best place to start.
