PROSPORT Lowering Springs (35mm all round)
The springs arrived securely packaged and bang on time, After fitting to my Polo 1.2 petrol, the car sat noticably lower but it was after aprox 200 miles of motoring (some deliberately done on undulating B roads) that the real difference in ride height was obvious. I found the amount of Roll was noticeably reduced and the low speed ride stiffer and a wee bit bumpier but was completely acceptable at higher speed and also much more reassuring on all road types and surfaces especially on A & B category roads. I would definitely recpmmend these springs as being great value as I have used H&R, Eibach, and Bilstein on my other Polos and whilst they are slightly better they all cost relatively more - so, WELL DONE PROSPORT!! ADVICE - I would recommend renewing the strut top mounts and bearings and ARB drop links as well as part of this job as it makes good sense - assuming also that all the struts are still sound. I did not change the standard height OE struts on this occassion and the springs still improved the handling. Do follow up with a decent 4-Wheel tracking and alignment to benefit most.
