I have been using JB weld for some eighteen months on both metal and plastic in the construction of model locomotives and modelling in general. I have found it to set very quickly and produces a smooth strong finish which is easy to drill, file or machine, the speed it sets is very dependent on the temperature of the work which must also be clean and oil free. This product has solved many problems for me so I can highly recommend it.
