Overall I'm pleased with it but a little pricey
It is a really handy tool to have in your kit. Sturdy and well made. It is difficult to release when clamped up tight though. Overall I'm pleased with it. A little too pricey in my opinion compared to other clamps and you seem to be paying quite a premium for that reversing facility.

Easy-to-use clamp & spreader
As a clamp it'll open to 600mm (actually 24") & as a spreader to over 700mm. Very fast easy clamp/spreader adjustment. Changing from clamp to spreader is also quick and easy with the fixing screw retained in the part and requiring no tools. Can't quantify the clamping force, but it has been more than enough to bring together wood assemblies (eg dowled parts) for gluing. As a spreader, the bar starts to bend if too much force is used, but I've found it extremely helpful for holding wooden items apart for assembly. At £32 for a pair, they are excellent value and worth every penny to me.
