They are also pre-loaded with a retaining ring that secures the bearing into the housing. All tools are neatly presented in its own sturdy case for easy transport. • Vital for proper installation of gen2 bearing

Reasonable kit at reasonable price. a must to change vag gen2 bearings with out damaging new bearing. Just wizz the wheel nuts and hub nut (another special socket tool) out. Drop the ball joint bolts and pop shaft out way. Pop caliper and disc out way. One colour is remove, other install. Lube and clean and lube like crazy.

  • it does the job

after a bit of head scratching (it comes with no instructions) worked out which was removal and which was replace. removed old bearing no problem, fitting the new one was a whole different ballgame.......would not pull the bearing in straight, after several attempts and resisting the temptation to batter it with a hammer used spacers to shift load around which got it in straight.......how much would it cost to put in some instructions? makes an expensive paper weight now!
