Like sitting in the Movie Theater
Let's get something clear, there are good/great old black & white movies and then there are the poor video quality copies. Whats the difference, picture quality, movie theater quality vs. blurry video. Make sure the "copy" is from an organization licensed to make the copy!

The original Captain Marvel, gee WHIZ
The Billy Bateson actor is dead on to the whiz comics. Tom Tyler is pretty good except seams at time a little dense and scared. As a fan of tyhe Mummy movies, can not get his walk out of my head in anumber of scenes. The vllian, the Scorpion, is cool but would have rather had the professor. The movie (spoiler) hints that this movie ends the need of Captain Marvel.

DVD Captain Marvel 1941 movie serial
DVD Captain Marvel 1941 movie serial was low price. Video quality of all 12 episodes on a single DVD looked poor = like a bad copy of an old VHS tape. However, considering the low price of this DVD, it was an acceptable deal. Basically, the Captain Marvel serial movie from 1941 was entertaining & nostalgic.
