Funkmaster Flex Digital Hitz offers complete control of six independent virtual mixing decks, each with up to 16 tracks. Using a USB-compatible microphone, players can record samples from CD, tape, or even a live performance with a favorite instrument. Musical gamers without an instrument handy can still record their own original tunes, simply by humming them into the microphone; the "V2M" ("Voice2Music") feature can interpret the melody and play it back as a synthesizer routine or guitar riff. Digital Hitz Factory features over 16,000 built-in instrument sounds in all, and six musical style templates: "Hip Hop," "Pop," "Trance," "Garage," "Indy," and "Metal."
