Tonka Joe is back in Tonka Construction 2, a follow up to the original building simulation game. Kids can help Joe and the Tonka Team pave roadways, build cities, and even dig for buried treasure in the four areas of Tonka Land. Similar to the first Tonka Construction, a variety of heavy equipment trucks are available to control while aspiring architects create real-life structures such as libraries, grocery stores, parks, and whatever else a little imagination can conjure. <br><br>Children can choose from one of four areas for play and construction. Tonka City and Tonka Mountain are two areas allowing children to build, demolish, and rebuild as often as they wish. They can build their dream city or create a ski resort with the click of a mouse. Additional fixtures, from doors and windows to topiaries and neon signs, can be added as well. In Tonka Desert players clear the way for new roads and then build a tourist town around the roadways. In the Tonka Quarry, kids dig for ancient treasures and assemble them from three hidden pieces.<br><br>Construction vehicles include an excavator, cement mixer, dump truck, and crane, all controlled by the computer's mouse. Menu navigation consists of a time clock and a back arrow, and a cell phone icon is available for extra help. Construction progress can be saved under individual sign-in names for later continuation. The game also features the ability to print or save designs to disk in addition to e-mailing them to friends and family
