Great light perfect fit .. however do not pull on the wire to undo the clip .break the light out the easy bit .pull on the wire to get at clip no no unless i was unlucky the wire broke at male clip inside spoiler .i would cut clip of new light and solder new to old wires as they are just there once light out 5 mins job not 3hrs tryin to poke a new wire through the spoiler..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Its a genuine VW part and it did its job
This will potentially save you up to 450 pounds not getting this repair fitted at a VW main dealers...you do have to break the old faulty LED brake light out with a screwdriver and a pair of pliers literally pulling the old one out. And then remove the brass secure bolts from the rear spoiler. Take care pulling the wire from inside the spoiler. I used some silicone to the back of the new LED brake light to secure it for a hour for it to take for an hour with tape. Just ensure you firmly press the new LED light until you hear it click because there is still a plastic clip that does secure it well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
