It offers improved performance and an impressive throaty exhaust note, especially from the TD5. This is a simple replacement and upgrade suitable for TD5 and TDCI Defender 90's from 1998. Made from 1.5mm 409 stainless steel, this carries a 10 year guarantee. These are made to considerably outlast the life of the original system. 409 is ideally suited for automotive exhaust systems as its easier to bend and weld, and is not prone to cracking due to vibration unlike other grades of stainless steel. Regarded as a ferratic stainless steel, 409 resists atmospheric and exhaust gas corrosion, but surface rust will form in.

This is a good exhaust however the rear hanger was way too short. I was fortunate in that i just made a new one i had some bar and a welder. morale to this story is check it's going to fit before removing the old one. But overall i am quiet happy with it..
