Condition:

The early switches had an aluminium "paddle" inside the switch and this is prone to corrosion that causes problems - this is the later design with plastic paddle so will not give a problem. This is a genuine Land Rover tailgate release switch that can be used to repair the Discovery 3 and 4.

    Excellent easy replacement

    Although this seems a bit pricey for what it is, it is clearly a quality product ands a much less costly option than replacing the whole rear handle assembly. It comes with a couple of crimp-on in-line connectors which makes it a really quick and easy replacement once you've managed to prise the old unit out and carefully snipped the original wires to leave you enough to work with.
