These disposable, cylindrical, 12V, alkaline batteries, made by the well-known company GP, are particularly suitable for devices which need repeated power bursts over an extended period without significant performance loss. Such devices include remote control units used for anti-theft alarms, garage door openers and other security key fobs. These batteries are also suitable for some types of photographic lighting and can be used as a compatible replacement for MN21, V236A and 8LR23 batteries.
