Cloud do better Meanwell......
We needed a 12V supply with battery backup for power failures and this seemed to fit the bill. Meanwell are a well known brand that fall into the mmid range of power supply makers and therefore we expected it to do the job. But there is a catch - There is only ONE voltage adjustment and this changes the output AND battery charge voltage at the same time. So 12V out on the main terminals means only11.6V on the battery charge terminals (bot good at all). To get 13.8v for the battery backup float charge then the main output is up at around 15v requiring yet another regulator to get 12V for equipment in rack. So not suitable for powering 12V gear without another voltage regulator. Not a great idea meanwell! Quality seems OK but given it's imitations then it seems overpriced for something that can't power 12V equimpent directly.
