Vital tool
Not sure I could do any basic carpentry without one of these. I always buy the DeWalt versions. Have tried the cheapo ones (cheaply made, that is, not to buy) from B&Q which break immediately. slightly fiddly but worth having
good product but drill bit came loose when used. You need to check that both grub screws are done up with an Alen Key on the shaft of the drill and not on the flutes If you need a shorter drill then fit one of the same size only shorter. also the countersink part is very sharp and will cut too deep if you are not careful. would have scored more if it was easier to use but the idea of this tool is to enable les tool changes you just need to set up with possibly a shorter drill. nun the less a good tool.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Made life simple
I used this pilot drill bit and countersink cutter to pre-drill holes in connection with putting up a garden shed, and the dozens of screws provided by the shed's manufacturer were countersink screws. I reckon i must have saved myself an hour just through not having to switch out pilot bit and then countersink cutter screw after screw.
